Live Like Roo
Live Like Roo provides support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis. More than 20,000 families have received vet services and care packages from Roo. The Fugers spent the afternoon making soft fleece comfort blankets to be included in Live Like Roo care packages. In addition, a monetary donation was made by Centrifuge to help ease the financial burden on families with a pet in cancer treatment.
Roosevelt, known as Roo, was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control. Shortly after finding his place with foster mom Kelly Michael, Roo was diagnosed with bone cancer. Today, Roo's spirit lives on through this active foundation. Learn more on how you can support Live Like Roo.
Naperville Area Humane Society
Naperville Area Humane Society is always in need of supplies. The Fugers went shopping and picked up items to meet the needs of the organization's wish list. From paper towels to kitty litter, easy cheese to bully sticks, our whole crew contributed thoughtfully chosen items. It was a thrill to see the donation table loaded with necessities and special treats.
At the Naperville Humane Society, every dog and cat receive excellent medical care, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered before being matched with a loving family or individual. This limited-admission shelter serves the Chicago western suburbs, creating lasting animal-human bonds and a more humane world.
